Gerard Butler is a decent actor, but the man has not been in any successful movie since '300' released in 2007.

His latest movie called 'Hunter Killer' is out in cinemas worldwide, although it looks like not many people bothered to come and watch it.

As reported by Box Office Pro, 'Hunter Killer' only came in fifth place this Box Office weekend earning a small amount of $6.6 million in its first three days of release in North America.

This is lower than the projected $10 million opening weekend it was predicted to get.

The movie only has a 36% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, although the audience score is better at 86%. The Cinemascore it received was an 'A-' which is a decent rating, although word of mouth isn't going to be widespread.

The movie cost $40 million to make, but at this rate it looks like the film will fail to break even. On a worldwide standpoint, the film has only made $7.1 million globally and might not make much more.

The Box Office was dominated again by 'Halloween 2018' which topped the weekend with over $32 million. Globally, the film has now earned over $172.3 million worldwide.

The other movies doing well recently includes 'A Star Is Born' and 'Venom' which both came out in the first week of October.

'A Star Is Born' has made $253.3 million worldwide, while the global tally for Venom is now $508.4 million. Venom could earn even more money once the movie hits China on November 9th, 2018.
