One caller really sent Howard Stern on a pretty big discussion that revealed a lot about how much or rather how little he cared about "America's Got Talent." The caller asked Stern about the Sony hacks and some of Simon Cowell's emails.

Stern gave a general rundown about what happened as a result of North Korea's disdain for The Interview in 2014.

He also said that he didn't believe newspapers should have reported on that story because it was an attempt to hurt a large corporation.

"Howard said one email that was leaked was Simon Cowell writing to Sony about how he'd like to replace Howard Stern on America's Got Talent," according to MarksFriggin.

"Howard said he laughed over it because he said he'd work cheaper than Stern and it would be cheaper to do it in Los Angeles."

Stern told his listeners that Cowell did try to call him to tell him that the emails weren't true but he simply didn't care enough about it. He revealed that plotting against someone was not in his nature because it'a a low thing to do.

Stern said it would have been much better if Cowell had come out in the open and told him that he wanted the job rather that speaking about it in private.

"He said he has a real talent and has millions of people listening to him. He said the America's Got Talent thing was a goof," according to the MF rundown.

"Howard said Simon is a judge and that's his thing. Howard said he judged as a goof."

Stern asserted that he was not joking when the caller started laughing. He said he didn't care enough to bring up anything about a contestant in private and if he had to judge for a living he might have gone behind people's back as well, which seemed like another jab at Cowell.

However, Stern says he isn't angry about it anymore, but restated that he didn't like people who went behind others back. Stern also told listeners that Cowell stole one of his best friend's wife.

"Howard said the measure of a man is how he conducts his life. Howard said that was odd to him that he was writing secret memos to get his job," according to MF.

"He said he has no sour grapes in this issue. Howard said he wants to see everyone on that show be successful. Especially Heidi, Mel, Howie and Nick. Howard said that's the story."

So, while Stern admits that he doesn't have much bad blood for the show and the judges on it, it does seem that he is not a fan of Cowell at all.
