Monday on The Howard Stern Show, Howard Stern announced that his writer Benjy Bronk would be conducting an interview with Stern's wife Beth next week, and he's received a lot of back lash about the idea.

Many callers and e-mailers have voiced negative opinions about Benjy interviewing Beth, thinking it's a terrible idea. Stern believes it's going to be a disaster, and told Benjy he has no ability to be interesting.

"You know what Howard, you're being boring right now," Benjy said with the same retaliation skills of a third grader. Stern continued to affirm that Benjy is boring.

Fred told him that he's always look for shtick, and Benjy began an angry rant in defense of himself.

While everyone seems to believe it will be a disaster, Benjy says it might be, but is going to do it anyway.

He got in a little practice by asking Robin about how the fabulous viral story of how she can suck her own breast, and pressed her with questions about what she thought.

"This is exactly what's going to happen. It's like drilling in to a tooth that's already dead," Robin said.

"What is bad about the way I talk?" Benjy asked.
"First of all you get loud, you get attack-y, and you get very shrill," Stern said.

"You get in to this thing, like with Robin just, you started to latch on to a thought and you wouldn't let go of it, and she clearly had nothing left to say."

"After the first question, he doesn't listen to the answer," Fred said.

Benjy will be interviewing Beth about her new book, "Yoda: The Story of a Cat and His Kittens," and said on the Stern Show Monday that he has a "therapeutic" interview style.

He aims to get in to the head of who he is interrogating.

"I'm looking forward to the Benjy interview, I hope it goes well," Stern said.
