Much of the world including Howard Stern was tuned into the 2016 Academy Awards to see if Leonardo DiCaprio would take home his first Oscar.

They also wanted to see how the show would address much of the racial controversy.Stern issued his own thoughts on the show overall during his SiriusXM radio show.

First up on the Oscars discussion was the new system in which the show would feature a rolling reel of the people the stars wanted to thank at the bottom of the screen.

It was intended to avoid cutting the stars off when they accepted their awards, however, some stars still fell victim to the dreaded music.

"Howard said they cut off Alicia Vikander while she's making her speech," according to MarksFriggin's rundown.

"Howard said they cut off Leonardo DiCaprio too. Howard said they can cut off the boring people but let the big stars speak."

Meanwhile Gary Dell'Abate added that Abe Vigoda and David Bowie were snubs because they weren't mentioned on the show. Then it was time to talk about Chris Rock.

Stern said that Rock was good and added that he had to do what he did in order to not look like a sell out, according to MF.

Rock's monologue addressed the issue of diversity in Hollywood and what the whole commotion was with the #OscarsSoWhite.

Stern also addressed the fact that Sylvester Stallone had his entire family there hoping to win and the Oscar went to a guy who was barely in a Steven Spielberg movie. The actor Stern was referring to is Mark Rylance who won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in Bridge of Spies. Stern was even more upset that Mad Max won as many awards as it did.

He said it was possibly the worst movie he has ever seen according to MF. It's safe to say that Stern was not happy with the 2016 Oscars.
