It was a pretty light day for The Howard Stern SiriusXM radio show but he did manage to rave about singer-songwriter Sia, who has a hit song titled, "Cheap Thrills" dominating the charts and radio right now.

"Howard said number 1 was Sia featuring Sean Paul. Howard said he thinks he read that Sia wrote it and offered it to Rihanna and she turned it down," according to MarksFriggin's rundown.

"Howard said you'd think she'd just go in and record the song. Howard said Rihanna can't write her own songs and she needs Sia. Howard said she didn't want to record this one because it was too poppy."

Stern said that Sia ultimately decided to record the track which is now a huge hit.

The song has been on the charts for 23 weeks according to the Stern Show and it is in running to be the song of the summer.

"Howard said he loves that story. Robin said she's going out on tour with all of the hair in her face," according to MF.

"Howard said he wishes she didn't do that. He said he knows that she doesn't feel good about her face.

He said he knows that feeling. Howard said she's so f**king talented. He said he loves that her song is the number one song for 23 weeks."

Stern did end the Sia talk by saying she should just go out there and take the wig off. Sia's "Cheap Thrills" recently took the number one spot from Drake on the Billboard Hot 100.
