Things got real on the Howard Stern SiriusXM radio show when the host opened up about his fear of the world.

It was all sparked by a question posed by Speech Impediment Man who asked Stern if he would ever travel to Israel.

"Howard said he loves Israel but he won't go there. He said it's a fear he grew up with," according to MarksFriggin's rundown.

"He said every minute he thinks about growing up in the black neighborhood and having his mother tell him about the Holocaust. Howard said those were his bed time stories.

Howard said he became very afraid of the world and the people in it. Howard said he doesn't like seeing new cultures."

Stern told his listeners and staff that he felt the safest in his hotel rooms whenever he left the country. The host continued to say that he felt the safest in America and that all of his fears have been coming true. He used going to France as an example of that.

Stern did give a little insight to what he plans on doing when he retires. He told listeners that he will be leaving and going off into the sunset when the time come.
