The Howard Stern SiriusXM radio show kicked off with Stern talking about Brent Hatley's St. Petersburg City Council Campaign video. Hatley joined Stern in the conversation to explain a little more about the video.

"Howard started the show talking about how he was just talking to Brent about his campaign commercial. He said it's so funny," according to MarksFriggin's rundown.

"He said when he ran for city council in Florida he had a commercial that ran on TV locally. He said he was wearing dark sunglasses and he looks like he just got out of jail."

Hatley is the senior producer for the Howard Stern channels on SiriusXM and joined Stern to talk about the commercial. He admitted that the video was terrible but stated he didn't have a hand in the video production.

Hatley lost the election to his opponent only securing 6,126 votes while the winner secured 12,000 votes. Hatley said he was not thinking when he entered the campaign.

"Brent said that he was told that he should run again in 2015 but after all of the Gawker stuff there was no way," according to MF.

"Howard did another commercial as Brent talking about how he can't even hear himself. He had the music so loud he wasn't able to think straight. He did another one where he talked about how his ideas just suck."
