Tuesday on The Howard Stern Show, Benjy Bronk and Elisa Jordana interviewed Howard Stern, and asked him about his family, friends, and reaction to the NY Post's headline stating Stern was an "idiot".

Bronk started off the discussion talking about The New York Post putting Stern on the front page and calling him an idiot. Stern was very upset about the incident on the show, and stated that he doesn't like being ridiculed.

"I'm on the air for four hours and I say a lot of things," Stern noted. Stern is upset mostly because The NY Post is shaping him to look bad.

Elisa Jordana asked him when was the last time he cried, and Stern said he cried over Thanksgiving when his kids had to leave for the day.

He's sad to see them grown up and out of the house, and he misses them.

Stern was also asked about his friends and family. He said that he's good friends with Robin and Fred and Fred is someone he feels he can turn to.

Stern talked about how his parents were good in some ways, not so good in others, and that his mother was overbearing when he was a child.

He also talked about his kids, and how he pays for their college, but has had to say no to some things they want.

Overall, it was a successful insight into the mind of Howard Stern. A caller even said it was better than Bronk's interview with Beth Stern, so he's got that going for him.

Hey Now Highlights

Howard Sterns addresses The New York Post. The NY Post called Howard Stern an "idiot" for claiming the Sony Hackers were terrorists, and called him out as trying to be shocking. Stern defended himself, saying the NY Post is trying to depict him as a person he is not, and that he's bummed out to be on the front page of the Post in that manner.

Stern stuck to his guns, stating there are many forms of terror and he believes this attack was terrorism in it's intimidation tactics. Due to the NY Post, Stern expressed being in less positive spirits.

(Feel better soon, Howard. We think you're awesome!!)

Howard Stern talks to Marianne Garvey from The NY Daily News. Marianne called in to tell Howard that she knows he can be misunderstood sometimes. Howard lamented that he was very embarrassed by the whole situation, and feels he was really thrown under the bus on this one.

Marianne said she had to defend the reporters, and said they don't even listen to the show, and are often simply told what they have to write up.

Howard asked for the names of the people behind the article, and more specifically, the headline. However, Marianne stated she was already going to be in trouble for calling in, and couldn't tell him who wrote the article.

Brad Burns--VP of Marketing at YouPorn--calls in. YouPorn.com is Stern's favorite website, so he thanked Burns for his work.

The pair chatted about the content that goes on the site, and how babysitters are popular at the moment. Burns mentioned the site could have a whole "Howard Stern" catagory.

EDIT: We incorrectly had the NY Post as the topic of conversation. This should be the NY Daily News.
