When she began blowing up over her hit song "Here" Alessia Cara became yet another young Canadian talent that would be taking the music world by storm.

Now, she continues to flex her vocals on a new cover of Drake's "Hotline Bling."

While Drake's rendition of "Hotline Bling" is more of a more Hip-Hop oriented track with R&B tones, Cara's version is heavily rooted with R&B and Pop tones making it much different from Drizzy. Cara's cover also contains an acoustic styled approach to the track that really gives it a whole new identity.

Cara manages to express every emotion of the lyrics in the song and beautifully brings it all together in one sweet package for Shazam's Top 20.

Cara recently got the co-sign from Drake as they both have matching photos on Instagram from their meeting. Drizzy called Cara his "little one from the 6," while Cara added that she "got the 6 god's blessing" and couldn't move her limbs. There is a very strong Canadian music movement going on in the U.S. and Cara is yet another example of that. She's an incredible talent that will probably be blasting through your radio stations if she hasn't been already.
