If you saw the 2016 Grammy's you actually witnessed Gwen Stefani record a live video shoot for her new single "Make Me Like You."

She stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show to talk about the experience as well as a big question she was asked from none other than Blake Shelton, her co-judge on The Voice.

Stefani first got down to talking about her live video and how difficult it was because she was constantly changing as it was filmed. It was a one take video that Grammy viewers were able to witness before it was released in its entirety. The music video was for Stefani's "Make Me Like You" single.

She actually says that she got hurt a couple of times while filming and hit her head pretty hard at one point. She told DeGeneres and the audience that by the time it was over, she was calling her eyes out because she had actually completed it without any big hiccups.

Stefani wanted DeGeneres to be the piano player but it didn't work out.

Of course, the interview would not be complete without DeGeneres bringing up Blake Shelton. Stefani blushed as the audience applauded but said she thought it would be a good idea to not talk about Shelton, joking of course.

Stefani and Shelton are dating and while she did give up her spot as a judge/mentor on The Voice, Shelton asked her to be an advisor for his team, that way she still has a part on the show.

She said that she wants to be a part of the show because she got so much out if it. Stefani's new album This is What the Truth Fells Like is scheduled to release on March 18.
