The score soundtrack for "Furious 7," Universal Pictures' action-packed film directed by James Wan and starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker on March 31, the same day as Ludacris' "Ludaversal" album.

Brian Tyler is a composer and conductor of more than 70 films and won Film Composer of the Year at the 2014 Cue Awards.

He has been the composer for three previous films in the FAST & FURIOUS franchise, having scored the box-office hits Fast Five, Fast & Furious and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift for director Justin Lin.

"It was a pleasure to collaborate with James Wan on "Furious 7," as he wanted the emotion of the themes to be the primary focus," said Tyler.

"The music uses modern recording techniques, vintage modular synthesizers, mashed-up beats, drums and tweaked remix elements along with classic film scoring traditions including full orchestra, piano, voice and classical guitar.

I am so proud of the movie, and I dedicate the score to the memory of Paul Walker and all the joy he brought."

"Brian's amazing score gave this movie life," said Wan.

"He did an incredible job of crafting an electrifying score for the bombastic action moments, one that is balanced by the beautiful and emotional themes of the characters that underline the heart of this movie."

Meanwhile, Ludacris, another one of the star-studded cast members for "Furious 7," is planning to release his first album in years titled, "Ludaversal." Ludacris wowed fans as he released a brand new freestyle each Thursday to show that he hadn't lost a step when it came to music.

Now he gets set to release a heavy-hitting album to go with the amazing run that the "Fast & Furious" franchise has endured.

"Furious 7" hits theaters nation-wide on April 3rd.
