The Connecticut Auto Show (https://twitter.com/ConnAutoShow) is coming to an end, but it brought together a large group of automotive companies, some of which are featured and others on full display.

The Connecticut Convention center was jam packed with displays and events for all enthusiasts to enjoy.

The companies that were in attendance are as follows: Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Toyota, Lexus, Acura, Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Lincoln, Ford, Chevrolet, Scion, Subaru, Kia, Hyundai, Buick, GMC, Fiat, Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler.

Both Scion and Mazda offered ride and drive events where attendees were able to hop in one of their new models whether it be the brand-new Mazda3 or sport Scion FR-S.

Empty Lighthouse took part in test drives of the 2015 Mazda3 5-Door Hatchback as well as the Mazda6.

Both vehicles were smooth on the road with sporty and luxurious interior respectively. Though the course wasn't ideal for a test drive, being able to provide consumers with a preview of what they can expect was a great idea.

The CT Auto Show also pays homage to automotive marvels of the past with it's "Cars of the Era - Antique Classics" display and "Muscle Car Showcase." Both displays feature models such as Ford's Model A, the Reo Model B Roadster, the 1971 Dodge Hemi Challenger and 1967 Shelby Mustang GT350.

"There are cars to suit every budget and lifestyle, as well as entertainment and specialty vehicles," teased CONNAutoShow.com (http://connautoshow.com/show-info/).

"There's even a chance to get behind the wheel at the show, thanks to our Ride & Drive programs.

Bring the entire family to enjoy special features like the Fan Zone, gas for life contest, Classic Car and Muscle Madness Showcases and a Kids Stop Pit Stop!"
