The Ellen DeGeneres show welcomes Lauren and Alan, two teachers who found love and have one thing in common, they both love the Ellen Show and DeGeneres.

So, upon hearing about them and with this week being teacher appreciation week, DeGeneres had a little surprise for them.

DeGeneres rolled the video footage of the couple who told their story about their first date. The two said they spent the whole time talking about DeGeneres so when they think about it, she is responsible for them getting married.

They thanked DeGeneres and following the video, the host welcomed the couple on stage and rehashed their first date. Lauren was so excited and talked about how much they loved DeGeneres.

The host brought up the fact that the two are teachers and they have said that they wouldn't do anything else. She wanted to know what that feeling was life.

Alan told DeGeneres a story about a parent coming up to him and telling him how much his son loves going to school now after having a rough year in first grade.

Alan says being able to make a difference and help mold a young student is amazing and he couldn't do anything else.

Lauren incorporates DeGeneres into her class by having "Ellen Dance Time" in between all of their studies. DeGeneres was so impressed that she surprised the couple with some dating gear.

She wanted to make sure she was on their next couple of dates which included a picnic, bowling and movie gear with snack holders.

After a break, DeGeneres congratulated them on getting married soon. Alan and Lauren have been paying for their wedding for two years.

DeGeneres and Credit Karma gave the couple $25,000 to pay off their student loans and an additional $25,000 to help them pay for their wedding.
