Ellen DeGeneres Meets Kim and Becky Jeger 'Mom and Daughter That Battled Cancer Together'

It wasn't all about Finding Dory this week on The Ellen Show. Ellen DeGeneres meet a courageous mother and daughter pair, Kim and Becky Jeger who battled cancer together.
"Kim Jeger is a huge fan of The Ellen Show who was diagnosed with breast cancer about one-and-a-half years ago," according to EllenTV.
"Four months before her own diagnosis, her mother, Becky, was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer. Kim and Becky were each other's support during this time and they both turned to the show to stay positive."
Before she introduced her first guest, DeGeneres heard her phone ringing and decided to pick it up.
When she answered, it was Jeannie who said she was going through emails and found one that DeGeneres needed to hear because the people who wrote it were in the audience.
She read the letter from Kim who was scared and in the audience both Becky and Kim became emotional as they heard the message being read aloud. In the letter Kim also thanked DeGeneres and her show for keeping her happy and her spirits high during the rough time.
DeGeneres welcomed the pair to the stage and Kim revealed that she does not have cancer again.
Kim is thrilled that she is cancer-free but the pair said that they were heartbroken when they were diagnosed, however, they were there for each other the entire time. They would even carpool to treatment together.
Becky told DeGeneres they were comforted while watching The Ellen Show during chemotherapy. Kim was diagnosed three weeks after she got engaged but she is getting married this summer.
DeGeneres decided to give Kim some wedding gifts. The first was a wedding dress, the second was a garter and the third was DeGeneres' gardener who took his shirt off after delivering the bouquet.
