Ellen DeGeneres Kicks Off 12 Days of Giveaways

It's that time of year again and Ellen DeGeneres is finally kicking off her 12 Days of Giveaways after teasing the event. She kicked off the show by wheeling out with a broken leg.
The broken leg was just a little troll for the fans because DeGeneres revealed she wasn't telling the truth. Upon announcing it was the first day for The Ellen Show's 12 Days of Giveaways, the fans went nuts.
DeGeneres said she was acting and to kick off the 12 Days of Giveaways, she thanked Nordstrom for carrying her ED shoe line and gave herself a little plug.
Then, the host surprised her audience with a $250 gift card to the show.
She continued the giveaway with a $500 Glasses USA gift card, a pair of Beats headphones, two round-trip tickets on Southwest Airlines to anywhere and a 6-day stay at Moon Palace Jamaica.
It's safe to say that the first day of DeGeneres' 12 Days of Giveaways started out in one of the biggest ways possible. We can't help but wonder whether DeGeneres has completed over-taken Oprah Winfrey's giveaways from back in the day.
