The week before Christmas is going to be one of the most crowded seasons at the Box Office as many movie studios are releasing their movies all at the same time.

With no Star Wars movie out in December this year, it will be hard to predict which movie will be coming out on top.

Box Office Pro has now reported the early tracking numbers of various movies coming out this December. The site has made estimates already for Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, Mary Poppins Returns, Aquaman and Bumblebee.

Animated movies rarely make more money than live action movies so Sony isn't expecting Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse to earn as much as Spider-Man: Homecoming or this month's Venom.

The movie might have a modest opening of $22 million and is projected for a domestic gross of around $90 million.

A few days later, Disney will be dropping Mary Poppins Returns.

This is not a reboot or a remake because it's a proper sequel to the first film that came out in the '60s.

It's estimated the movie will make $40 million in its opening weekend with $350 million in the overall domestic gross.

A big earner could be Warner Bros with the release of Aquaman. The movie is projected to gross between $40 to $60 million in its opening weekend and it's tracking numbers are similar to that of Ant-Man and the Wasp.

A big loser for the season could be Paramount Pictures and its Bumblebee movie. This is because nobody really likes watching Transformers films anymore despite this new movie looking better than the rest of them.

It's expected Bumblebee will only have an opening weekend of $20 million but could end up getting a domestic gross of over $100 million if word of mouth stays strong for family viewers.
