In what is a pretty solid day for album released, Domo Genesis delivers his album Genesis featuring an impressive lineup in an even more impressive package.
The classic hip-hop style of Genesis lends itself to groovy sounds with a couple of wonderfully dark tracks like "Questions." Fans might still be buzzing over the Taylor Gang and Odd Future connection from "Go Gas" featuring Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J and Tyler The Creator. The team up seemed to come out of left field but really seems to work well.
Another standout track on the album would have to be "Coming Back" featuring Mac Miller. The late spring/summer feel of the beat fused with meaningful lyrics about the rap game is a splendid mix that you can ride to.
"Dapper" seems to be the overall fan favorite with a funky feeling that is accentuated by the incredible vocals of Anderson .Paak. Like the music video above, the classic funkadelic/roller rink style groove puts you in a feel good move.
