As a parent your wish is for your kids to be better than you when they grow up. That's exactly what happened to David Oyelowo and he shared the story with Jimmy Fallon during his visit to The Tonight Show.
Oyelowo is one of the stars in the upcoming film, Queen of Katwe, which also stars Lupita Nyong'o. During his visit, Fallon shared footage of an epic basketball shot he made with a cast on his foot.
It was pretty far away, so far, he had to throw it with one hand football-style.
Here's where the kids come in. Fallon revealed that while that shot was pretty epic, his kids had bigger plans.
His two sons both stood a little farther back than their father did, used a football and threw it right into the net without any help from the backboard.
They celebrated with a couple of "dabs," rendering their father's shot null.
