In honor of PlayStation's 20th birthday, the hit EA DICE game "Mirror's Edge" was available for free download this past weekend.

The bright graphics and crisp artistry of the game itself are stunning, and leaves much to be inspired by the artists at DeviantArt.

Mirror's Edge is about 8 years old, and has aged gracefully as a PS3 classic.

Gameplay functions from a first-person perspective as the player operates through a fictional, white-washed cityscape. It's inspired by parkour, where the main character Faith must complete a series of missions while navigating the rooftops of a dystopian city.

The latest news for the Mirror's Edge franchise came out back in November.

The official release date of the sequel, Mirror's Edge 2, is rumored to be April 15, as reported by kdramastars.com. An announcement teaser trailer was released, and can be viewed at Mirror's Edge Official website, or on YouTube.

In a statement released on the site from the game's senior producer, Sara Jansson wrote: "Mirror's Edge is all about fluidity, physicality and movement.

We want to make sure we evolve the game and Faith in a way that gives you an exciting new player experience."
