Icona Pop's Successful Year - What's In Store For 2014?

2013 has been a huge year for the Swedish pop duo, Icona Pop.

After interviewing them back in September and discussing the release of their debut album This Is...Icona Pop, I have been sure to stay up-to-date with the success and future plans for Caroline and Aino, the lovely ladies of Icona Pop.

Here's what the duo has in store for 2014, which is bound to be an even bigger and brighter year for the Swedes.

This week, Icona Pop released and premiered the video for their newest single "Just Another Night". The video has an artsy vibe, shot in black and white and in the beautiful city of romance, Paris.

The video depicts "a fictional tale of a complicated romance between one man and two best friends".

The song is straight off their debut album This Is...Icona Pop, and is different than others the duo has released, for it is more of a heartfelt ballad that really showcases the talent of both Caroline and Aino's vocals.

Icona Pop is the first ever Swedish female duo to top the United States Billboard Charts. The ladies have sold over 5 million copies worldwide of their catchy debut single "I Love It" featuring Charli XCX. Icona Pop continued to rise to the top of the music industry, with fans all over the world. Their upbeat tunes are fun and danceable, with relatable lyrics for young people everywhere. I certainly can't get enough of listening to their album.

The duo will be embarking on the last leg of their headlining tour this month, with support from openers Sirah and K.Flay.

The end of the tour will include stops along the West Coast, including San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and Vancouver. The dates are rescheduled from their "This Is...Icona Pop" tour, which took place earlier this autumn.

The women of Icona Pop have big plans in regards to touring for 2014. First, beginning in February, they will be supporting Miley Cyrus on her "Bangerz" tour around North America, alongside another leading lady in the music industry, Sky Ferreira.

Come May, they will be joining Katy Perry for her "Prismatic" tour through the UK.
