The star of the upcoming romantic comedy, Burnt, Bradley Cooper stopped by the Howard Stern show, to promote the film and chat about upcoming projects like Joy.

The Stern Show revealed some breaking news regarding Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy 2, among other topics.

The interview kicked off with Stern making a few jokes about Robin Quivers swooning over Cooper.

Stern began rehashing the last time Cooper was there, which happened to be during the promotion for his Broadway performance in Elephant Man.

Cooper told Stern that he had to eat 6,000 calories a day to gain 60 pounds of muscle he had lost for the role of Elephant Man, according to MarksFriggin.

Stern praised Cooper for picking key roles in good movies and mentioned that Cooper studied at The Actor's Studio. The crew then began diving into Cooper's most recent film, Burnt.

"Howard said that this new movie Burnt is really good. Howard said he loved it and Beth loved it too," according to MF.

"He said it's really good. Robin said it's nice and quiet too. Bradley said it's a movie that everyone wanted to do.

He said it's something that doesn't fit the bill.

He said the whole cast is into food so they wanted to do it. Howard said he wasn't sure he wanted to see a movie about a guy cooking but it's more than that."

Cooper plays a chef who rises from a life of drugs and "diva behavior." His co-star Sienna Miller plays Cooper's love interest in the film. Stern commented on how hot she was and the fact that she got better looking as the film went on.

The crew spoke about Cooper's film American Sniper which did big numbers at the box office. Cooper also told the Stern crew that he was the one who told Clint Eastwood, the director of the film, about the Oscar nominations.

"Howard said Amy Schumer did a monologue on Saturday Night Live about meeting him. Howard asked if he saw that," according to MF.

"Bradley said he watched it afterward. He said he thinks his friend and publicist told him about it.

Howard said Amy is talking about how she wants to f**k his brains out. Bradley said she didn't say that. Howard said that's what was going on in her mind though."

"Bradley said that he had a run in with her at the MTV awards once.

He said that he saw her on a talk show talking about him.

He said she said some things about him on a TV show and then he saw her again and went right up to her and asked what that bullshit was."

Cooper will also be the supporting actor in an upcoming film called Joy, starring Jennifer Lawrence, an actress he's worked with in The Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle. Stern fished around for a little love-story between Cooper and Lawrence but Cooper said that they don't have that kind of relationship.

Cooper later spoke about what it was like to do a table read with and meet Robert De Niro.

He said that he was nervous because he pitched De Niro the role for Limitless for an hour and De Niro was silent the whole time.

According to a recent tweet from the Stern Show, Cooper will be reprising the voice of Rocket Raccoon in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
