Gov. Bobby Jindal (R. - LA) appeared on Meet the Press Sunday to discuss the Affordable Care Act (AKA "Obamacare"), immigration, the Republican rout in the midterm election, and his ambitions for 2016. ??

Jindal took issue with Medicaid expansion, a provision of the Affordable Care Act that Louisiana opted out of.

Moderator Chuck Todd noted that several states with Republican governors did take the expansion because the tab would be picked up by the federal government.

Jindal refuted the idea that the money was "free," and called it a "failure" - at least in regards to "able-bodied" people.

??Jindal also claimed that Obama's approach of using an executive order to reform immigration is "breaking the law."

??When Jindal flirted with a 2016 run for president, Todd pressed him on Louisiana's annual deficits, citing a litany of statistics. Jindal claimed Todd's facts were simply "not true."

??Jindal, who hasn't been shy about his presidential ambitions and is frequently mentioned by analysts as a contender, has an extensive background in healthcare, studying as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford and earning a political science degree with an emphasis in healthcare policy.

Before serving as governor, Jindal was appointed appointed as Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals at age 24 by former Governor Mike Foster, who called Jindal a "genius" and praised his "practical quality" regarding interpersonal relations.?
