As his term in the office nears its end, Vice President Joe Biden stopped by The Tonight Show to talk about everything from putting his family first to changing the sexual assault culture.
Fallon welcomed the Vice President to the show and wanted to ask him about a letter he sent to his employees. The letter basically stated that those who worked for him should not miss a single important family obligation.
In fact, the Vice President said it would greatly disappoint him if they did. The fans cheered on after Fallon finished reading the email.
The Vice President revealed that when he had just turned 30, his wife and daughter were killed in an accident and his two boys were badly injured. He said he thought he was a decent father until then and it's about quality time over quantity time.
He continued to say that it's not true that your family members will understand if you miss something that matters to them. He also raved about his staff.
The VP said he is surprised by Donald Trump's success in the 2016 Presidential Campaign. He said he has never met an individual who knew so little about the world.
Fallon also bravely admitted the amount of times he made fun of the VP and later on commended him for his speech after the Boston Marathon bombing. He also wanted to talk about the "It's On Us" campaign.
The VP is proud of his campaign to change the sexual assault culture in the U.S. He said he was taught as a child that one of the biggest sins was for a man to raise his hand against his woman. He called those who take women up to a room at a fraternity house when she is highly under the influence is a coward, and added that if we see it we should intervene.
Later on the VP shared some ice cream with Fallon as then concluded their awesome interview.
