Anthony Cumia and Greg "Opie" Hughes worked together successfully for 20 years before Cumia was fired by SiriusXM for remarks he made on Twitter.

Since that happened Opie has continued to host what was once "Opie and Anthony Show," and he, along with co-host Jim Norton recently signed new contracts with the satellite radio company.

Opie has spoken in support of his former colleague and has said that he approached SiriusXM management about hom being hired back. He has not appeared on Cumia's new show, which Norton has done on multiple occasions.

After his firing, Cumia started his own subscription-based show at AnthonyCumia.com.

He has been pretty quiet about his relationship with Opie saying that he was happy doing his own show in the afternoon but was open to putting the team back together if a morning opportunity arose.

Tuesday, he put a video up for free on AnthonyCumia.com which explained the relationship between the two long-time partners.

In the nine minute segment he responded to a caller who asked why Opie had not yet appeared and whether there was bad blood between the two.

"There's not any bad blood, he said.

"The truth of the matter is me and Jimmy joked a lot more back and forth than me and Opie did. i just thought especially early on that he'd be a little more conducive to the show."

Cumia continued saying that he would eventually have Opie on but admitted that he "hadn't really heard from" his former partner. "Let me straighten that out though.

He's got a lot on his plate now, he said.

"He's not thinking about coming on this show or anything like that because he's left with the tattered remnants of a radio show that he needs to build up to something."
