Andy Cohen appeared on The Howard Stern Show Tuesday morning to chat about the release of his brand new book, "The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look At A Shallow Year", and you can hear an exclusive audio clip from the book on howardstern.com.

Cohen talks about one morning when he woke up to a text message from Cher while in San Tropez.

He includes an uncanny Cher impersonation for the reading, sounding off the text she sent about what she was born to do in life. "Come out in ridiculous costumes, sing, be fabulous, and make people happy!"

"Hey listeners, how did you like my gravelly Cher impersonation?" Cohen said.

Listen to the clip:

"It's trashy, it's fun," Stern said about Cohen's new book.

The story runs through a year in the life of the talk show host's life.

The Amazon.com summary reads: "In this dishy, detailed diary of one year in his life, Andy goes out on the town, drops names, hosts a ton of shows, becomes codependent with Real Housewives, makes trouble, calls his mom, drops some more names, and, while searching for love, finds it with a dog."

Cohen told Stern about the story when John Mayer opened up to him about his break up with Katy Perry, and even made him an omelette.

The book is available for purchase now, and filled with tons of intimate stories from Cohen's life.

November 11, Cohen will be at a book signing in Huntington, Long Island, and says he won't be wearing much of anything.

If you're a single gay man, now's the time to woo the famed talk show host. He says he's ready to settle down!
