Over the years Alyson Stoner has grown up and carved a path for herself with some of the most talked about YouTube videos in the past 10 years (USA Today).

Now, she is getting ready to bring her loyal fans a new single titled, "Woman," which will be here next month.

Stoner has come a long way and paid homage to that in her "Missy Elliott Tribute Video" but on February 19, she will reveal her highly anticipated new pop single "Woman." The upbeat dance track is available for pre-order on iTunes starting today, January 26, with the nationwide digital release to follow.

"The former Disney star penned the personal song within minutes after a series of events that inspired her to breakdown the walls she had built around herself and embrace the woman she is," according to a recent release.

"After 15 years in entertainment, I reached the formidable transition to adulthood and realized my biggest obstacle wasn't the industry or my competition, but myself," according to Stoner.

"I'd been waiting for the world to give me permission and an opportunity, when really the responsibility to participate in my story and dream was solely mine.

It's been a scary, messy and thrilling journey of personal and artistic development, but this is the life I want to live: vulnerable, honest, bold, and human. This is the woman I am."

With the help of long-time friend and producer Rob Grimaldi, "Woman" spotlights Stoner's expansive vocal range--equal parts soul and pop--with a rhythmic swagger, anthemic lyrics, and a sexy world-influenced groove.

"Woman" heralds her arrival and ignites fresh fire for pop music in the process. It also opens up the floodgates for more music, establishing her signature sound and style.

"I want my music to make you move." said Stoner.

"Soul, passion, authenticity...they're essential. I want to create universal songs every human can identify with and dance to."

So if you're a fan of Stoner you have something pretty huge to look forward to come February.
