Alex Magala Takes His Sword Swallowing Act to the Ellen Show

If you've seen Alex Magala on Britain's Got Talent, you know his sword swallowing act is cringeworthy and entertaining at the same time. He recently brought his act to the Ellen Show and had the audience cheering and screaming.
His performance on Britain's Got Talent put him on the map with a YouTube video that reached millions of views. Now, Magala appeared on the Ellen Show and his act had even DeGeneres squirming in her seat.
During the entire performance, DeGeneres and the crowd weren't sure if they should be amazed or terrified. The screams said all as Magala had their attention for sure.

The second half of the performance features a Samurai sword which was incredibly long. He then made his way up a poll with the sword stuck in his throat and had the fans screaming when he repelled head first down.
Everyone including viewers must have thought that was it for him.
After the performance Magala told DeGeneres what a privilege it was to be on the show. He explained that he was Moldova and it's a poor country with pretty much nothing to do.
He got tired of being average but after watching another sword swallowing routine on TV he knew that's what he wanted to do.
