One of the Howard Stern SiriusXM show's closest friends Adam Carolla called in to the show to talk about his upcoming show at the Westbury Theatre, his wife and more.

Carolla will be performing at the Westbury Theatre in New York on Friday, January 15 and wanted to promote the show a bit by calling in to the Stern Show.

Stern dove into talk about Carolla's wife Lynette and her podcasts, as well as how big of a Bruce Springsteen fan she is.

"Howard said it's to the point that she picks up and goes to shows and leaves Adam with the kids. Adam said that in a nutshell that's it," according to MarksFriggin.

"He said she gives him like 18 hours notice. Howard said it's unusual for a woman to do that. He said that's what dudes do. Howard said it doesn't sound like a typical thing that Adam would put up with."

Meanwhile, Carolla said that his wife is like Uber for the E Street Band.

Carolla said that both he and his wife grew up poor so now they try to enjoy the things they couldn't before, such as his wife going to Springsteen shows, hosting her podcast and him having a friendship with Kevin Costner.

It was a pretty short call but ultimately the plug for Carolla's upcoming comedy show at Westbury Theatre.
