Aaron Paul pops a bottle champagne on a balcony in celebration of "Breaking Bad's" 16 Emmy nominations.

The show is ending this year but the celebration of its success continues as they have already won the Emmy for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing For A Drama Series for the "Felina" episode.

"Sentiment makes me think "Breaking Bad" might win again, for its final run of eight episodes, which were some of the most gripping moments of television ever," says OregonLive.com's Kristi Turnquist.

"On the other hand, new entry "True Detective" may have belonged in the miniseries category, not best drama, but the first season of the HBO crime drama cast a powerful spell over viewers -- even though the season finale was, in my mind, a letdown, especially as compared with the "Breaking Bad" series finale."

Tonights competition will prove to be some of the toughest in Emmy History but with the 16 nominations "Breaking Bad" has a chance to finish off the series with a their last hurrah.

Paul took to Instagram to get the celebration started early as he popped the top on a bottle of champagne with the caption "Champagne Breakfast #Emmys."
