xXx: The Return of Xander Cage Debuts At Number 1 Worldwide

With a returning lead man, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage scored big at the box office. The film topped the worldwide box office for its opening weekend, while hitting number two domestically.

"The global marketplace belongs to Vin Diesel this weekend with 'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage' taking in an impressive $50.5 million internationally and $70.5 million at the worldwide box office," said comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian.

"While M. Night Shyamalan's suspense thriller 'Split,' the number one movie in North America, scared up an impressive $46 million in its debut."
