Xbox plans to celebrate its flagship franchise, Halo.

Starting on November 8, the event will be a tribute to all things Spartan. They also told fans who can't attend how to follow the fun; Halofest will be streaming on Xbox Live and Twitch.

"For the first HaloFest," Xbox stated on its blog, "343 built a living museum of Halo history, but this time, the history is encapsulated in its purest form, the Master Chief's epic saga.

So this year, in celebration of those memories and the future that lies ahead, Halo will take over the Avalon Theatre in Los Angeles on Nov. 10, the day before Halo: The Master Chief Collection arrives worldwide."

In addition to being surrounded by the Halo brand, fans will be able to get an early look at Halo 5: Guardians, which is scheduled to launch on December 29. Guardians is the franchise's first appearance on the Xbox One.

In addition to Guardians, Halofest will end on November 11--the day that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is scheduled to launch. Master Chief Collection will be a compilation of the franchise's previous titles: Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4.

In addition, Master Chief Collection will have Halo Nightfall--a live action series--in its entirety.

With Guardians on the horizon and a blowout celebration scheduled for November, Halo fans have a lot to look forward to.
