WrestleMania 34 is next year and WWE always wants to bring new viewers to the fold.

In order to get mainstream media coverage, the professional wrestling company is hoping to reach out to UFC star Conor McGregor to somehow be involved in next year's big event.

The Sun has reported that the WWE is hoping to get Conor McGregor to do a one-off match at WrestleMania 34.

The company did something similar nearly ten years ago as Floyd Mayweather agreed to wrestle The Big Show back at WrestleMania 24.

Mayweather was able to bring some new eyes to the product, even though he portrayed a heel during his run.

The report goes on to say that McGregor is a fan of the WWE as he has modeled his persona on guys like The Rock and Ric Flair. Not to mention he mimics the same strut that Vince McMahon does when he enters the ring.

The only thing preventing McGregor from wrestling in the WWE is due to his obligations with the UFC. However, the report says the timing is better now than it ever has been in the past.

WWE has another plan if McGregor is unable to do the event. UFC's Ronda Rousey is also in talks to wrestle at some point in the company too.

Rousey has appeared on WWE television multiple times in the past and has been a fan of the product ever since she was young.

Her schedule is more open since her MMA career is halted since she lost confidence after back-to-back losses.

If everything goes according to plan, we might have both Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey on the same show.

This will only happen if WWE is able to pay them good money to appear and if the UFC agrees to the terms though.
