Viewership for Monday Night Raw was already at an all-time low last week earning the show its second worst ever rating since a Christmas show back in 1996. Well now the viewership has again reached a new low.

As reported by LordsofPain, average viewership for Monday Night Raw this week was only 2.302 million viewers. This is under 2.350 million viewers which was attained by the show last week.

The first hour drew 2.500 million viewers which is pretty decent, but in hour two it dropped to only 2.325 million viewers. It's the third hour that is shocking because it only averaged to around 2.081 million viewers.

This should be seen as a massive disappointment considering WWE advertised both Ronda Rousey and Shawn Michaels will both be on this week's show.

Shawn Michaels came out in the third hour, but even he wasn't able to attract viewers from tuning out from the show.

Predictably, the NFL got the largest ratings on cable television last night. The Chiefs vs. Broncos drew an impressive number of 13.214 million viewers. last night over on ESPN.

It remains to be seen if WWE will ever change its current format because a lot of fans feel fatigued watching three hours of Raw every week. The ratings were much better when the shows were only two hours long.

However, it's unlikely WWE will go back to two hour shows because they earn more ad revenue making the show three hours long.

Not to mention the company already secured TV deals with the USA Network and Fox Sports for the next five years or so.
