WWE Payback 2017 Full Match Card Predictions

WWE Payback is on this Sunday and it's a unique PPV. It's supposed to be a Raw only event, although the Superstar Shakeup caused some Smackdown Live stars to leak in there last minute.

It is also an event without a world title being defended. Anyway, here are my predictions for the show.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: This average tag-team match is on the pre-show.

It's hard to say who will win this match because the WWE Creative team has not done much with both teams to make us care for them.

I'll say maybe Enzo and Cass need the win here since they lost their thunder when the Hardy Boyz arrived.

United States Championship - Kevin Owens (c) vs. Chris Jericho: This one is kind of easy to predict.

Kevin Owens is the younger star and needs to win to validate his place in the main roster.

Chris Jericho is also scheduled to be leaving WWE for a short while again to tour with his band Fozzy. Due to that, Owens is winning.

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship - The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) (c) vs. Cesaro and Sheamus: The last episode of Raw teased a potential heel turn for Cesario and Sheamus.

Cesaro was upset with the way Matt Hardy won this match against Sheamus.

I'm predicting The Hardy Boyz are winning this one, and then Sheamus and Cesaro get angry to beat them up. The beat down could cause Matt and Jeff to resurrect their Broken gimmick.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship - Neville (c) vs. Austin Aries: Neville has been going great as the Cruiserweight Champion ever since he won it at the Royal Rumble.

He also has a new buddy in the form of TJ Perkins. I think maybe Perkins interferes to help Neville win this one. I don't see Neville losing the title so soon yet.

Raw Women's Championship - Bayley (c) vs. Alexa Bliss: Alexa Bliss was traded to Raw from Smackdown Live and is one of the best women's wrestlers out there.

Bayley on the other hand is a hard worker and is loved by many young girls.

It's hard to pick a winner here, but I will say Bayley will retain. It's too early to put the title on Alexa Bliss since she's already won the Smackdown title twice already.

Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe: Samoa Joe has been booked pretty strong since he debuted on the main roster almost two months ago. However, Seth Rollins just beat Triple H at WrestleMania 33 and has never looked back.

I'm going to say Rollins gets the victory to get revenge on Samoa Joe for legitimately injuring him.

In real life it was an accident, but it makes for a good storyline for Rollins to punish Joe for the injury. However, this feud is likely to continue after Payback.

House of Horrors - Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton: Poor Bray Wyatt has been booked inconsistently in WWE. He had a brief run as WWE Champion a few weeks ago, but now he has slipped back down the totem pole.

This match is no longer for the WWE Title so Wyatt could win even though he doesn't get the belt. I feel Wyatt will win this one thanks to interference from Jinder Mahal.

This sets up Orton's next match with Mahal at Backlash for the WWE Title.

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman These two first met at Fastlane 2017 and Roman Reigns won cleanly ending Strowman's winning streak.

I predict that it's Strowman's turn to win as WWE needs him to look strong.

It's speculated Strowman is next in line to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title.

They are likely going to let Strowman win by saying Reigns was weakened due to the "injuries" he suffered a few weeks ago when Strowman dumped him inside an ambulance.
