With Bobby Lashley back in WWE, there has been speculation that he will face Brock Lesnar in a future big match.

Well some new rumored details have been revealed as to when and how this big match will be taking place.

According to PWStream on Twitter, the wrestling insider posted some more news about the potential Lesnar vs Lashley mega match. It sounds like the match is being saved for this year's SummerSlam event.

"Per source: Lesnar vs Lashley has been discussed, however, in the discussions I’ve been told about it wouldn’t be for the title, and it wouldn’t be anytime soon. Most likely to be at a big show like SummerSlam that needs high profile names. #Raw"

The fact that the match will be taking place at SummerSlam is nothing new, but saying it won't be for a title is interesting.

Brock Lesnar is the current Universal Champion so this report could suggest he might be dropping the strap in the next few months.

The original plan was for Roman Reigns to already beat Lesnar for the Universal Title at WrestleMania 34, but WWE owner Vince McMahon changed his mind at the last minute.

If this report ends up being true, Reigns might take the belt off Lesnar in the next few months instead.

Lesnar and Lashley never faced each other before in both professional wrestling or MMA for that matter. The two powerhouses are very popular so staging this match is sure to keep many fans happy.

The rumored report might also suggest that the two wrestlers will be staying on the Raw brand. It seems like neither of them will be drafted over to Smackdown Live anytime soon.
