WWE Introduces New 24/7 Title Belt

WWE already has over 10 title belts on both Raw and Smackdown but today another one joins the list. WWE has now announced on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw the new '24/7' title belt.

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley appeared in person to reveal the new 24/7 bet on Raw today.

It pretty much has a green strap with the words 24/7 in the middle. It's by far one of the more unique looking belts that WWE currently has to offer.

The 24/7 belt is the new version of the old Hardcore Title.

As older fans might know, the Hardcore title allowed wrestlers to compete for the belt anytime and any place. The only thing wrestlers needed is a referee to count the pinfall.

I feel this new title is pretty cool because it gives a chance for the lower and mid card wrestlers on the show to have some limelight.

Sadly, WWE got rid of the Hardcore title back in 2002 so it's been 17 years since we've seen a belt like this.

The first winner of the new 24/7 belt was Titus O'Neil, but he later lost the title on the stage to Robert Roode. Over at the car park area, Robert Roode then lost the title to R-Truth!

As of time of writing, the 24/7 title holder is still R-Truth. He's still defending the title as we speak as he will bring the belt to Smackdown Live on Tuesday night.
