It's the last PPV before WrestleMania 35 and turned it out to be an okay show. Fastlane 2019 also gave us some clues as to what will happen in next month's big PPV.

One of the biggest shocks of the night occurred at the very start during The Usos vs The Miz and Shane McMahon.

It was a great tag-team match and The Usos won fair and square. At the end of the match though, Shane McMahon beat up The Miz and turned heel.

Many people thought The Miz would have turned heel, but it was Shane who turned. I guess that means we will see The Miz vs Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 35.

The next match wasn't really eventful as Asuka easily defended her Smackdown Women's title against Mandy Rose. The only noteworthy thing to happen is that Sonya Deville tried to interfere but it backfired and she tripped up Mandy Rose instead.

Probably the most useless match on the entire card was a handicap match between The Bar vs Kofi Kingston.

This was done to make the crowd cheer for Kofi so he can hopefully get inserted to the WWE Title match next month. The match itself though was boring and unnecessary.

The Revival won their tag match against Aleister Black and Ricochet and Bobby Roode and Chad Gable.

It was fast paced and one of the best matches of the entire night. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for WrestleMania 35 next month.

Another awesome match was a Fatal 4 Way for the US Title.

Andrade and Rey Mysterio did their usual high flying moves, but R-Truth and Samoa Joe were also pretty good. At the end though, Samoa Joe won with the coquina clutch on Rey Mysterio.

Sasha Banks and Bayley managed to win their Tag Title match against the team of Nia Jax and Tamina.

The only noteworthy thing happened in the end when the Islanders beat up Beth Phoenix and Natalya as sore losers. I guess Beth Phoenix will be coming out of retirement next month!

Probably my favorite match of the entire night was the WWE Title contest between Danial Bryan, Mustafa Ali and Kevin Owens.

The match was awesome mainly thanks to the high flying theatrics of Mustafa Ali. Daniel Bryan won at the end though and should face Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35.

The Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair match was kind of boring because Becky Lynch kept selling her knee "injury".

The match seemed like a waste of time since Ronda Rousey came out to interfere and beat up Becky Lynch. Due to the DQ finish, Becky Lynch is added to the main event of WrestleMania 35.

My favorite segment of the night was when Randy Orton did the RKO on Elias. After that, AJ Styles did the phenomenal forearm on Orton. We should see Orton vs Styles at WrestleMania 35!

The main event was the last time we see The Shield vs the team of Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre. This match was a greatest hits show since we saw lots of Shield powerbombs and other finishing moves.

As predicted, The Shield won this overly long main event and it could be the last time we see the faction with Dean Ambrose leaving WWE later this year.

Anyway, WWE Fastlane 2019 was an okay PPV featuring some awesome matches and a few duds. It felt like an episode of Monday Night Raw most of the time, but the Smackdown matches made this event more interesting.
