The last ever one branded PPV is soon upon us as Smackdown Live will be hosting the WWE Fastlane 2018 event this Sunday. The event's results should allow us to know how WrestleMania 34 will be shaping up to be like.

Usually PPVs before WrestleMania are predictable mainly because nothing new really changes. That said, there's still many matches on the card that could still be great to watch.

Becky Lynch and Naomi vs Natalya and Carmella: Smackdown Live has sadly not given as much attention to the Women's Division as much as the Raw brand.

It's sad that these four women are just thrown together in a random tag-team match.

I have no idea who would benefit most by winning this match because it won't lead to anything special. However, I feel WWE is going to let Natalya and Carmella win this one as the heels need the momentum.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Rusev (with Aiden English): Rusev has gotten over with the crowd thanks to his 'Rusev Day' gimmick.

He is so popular, they have chanted 'Rusev Day' in the Ring of Honor promotion which is a company he currently does not even work for!

It's sad WWE isn't making/pushing Rusev as a babyface as there's no chance he will win against Shinsuke Nakamura.

Nakamura needs to win this match to look strong since he will challenge the WWE Champion at WrestleMania 34 after winning this year's Royal Rumble match.

WWE SmackDown Women's Championship - Charlotte Flair (c) vs Ruby Riott: Ruby Riott is a talented new person on the Smackdown Live roster, although I feel it's way too early for her to win the title.

Charlotte Flair is the veteran and is more than likely going to WrestleMania 34 to defend her title.

It's highly expected Charlotte Flair will defend her title at WrestleMania against Asuka. Charlotte is easily going to beat Ruby Riott at Fastlane so we can finally get into the WrestleMania feuds.

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship - The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) (c) vs The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and/or Xavier Woods): Even though these two teams have faced each other like one million times already, I have to admit their matches are always fast paced and fun to watch.

However, I feel there won't be a definitive winner in this match since we're close to WrestleMania 34.

My prediction is that The Bludgeon Brothers and/or some other tag teams will interfere in the Fastlane match which will lead to a multi-team match at WrestleMania.

WWE United States Championship - Bobby Roode (c) vs Randy Orton: A few years ago, Bobby Roode vs Randy Orton would have been considered to be an exciting dream match.

Sadly though, Roode being a babyface is truly ruining his current main roster run.

The build-up to this feud has been boring so far even though I like both men.

The only interesting story development this feud has is that the US Title is a belt that Orton never held in his 16 year long WWE career.

I have a strong feeling that this match will also not have a proper winner, although my prediction is leaning towards Roode keeping his title. Jinder Mahal might interfere in this match since he's been involved with both men lately.

WWE Championship - AJ Styles (c) vs John Cena vs Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn vs Baron Corbin vs Dolph Ziggler: Usually I have a lot to say for the main event of a PPV, but this time I don't have many words to describe this match.

The match people most want to see at WrestleMania 34 is AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Title.

It will be a mistake for WWE not to book Styles vs Nakamura in a one-on-one match. Realistically, Styles is the favorite to win at Fastlane 2018 as nobody else should take the title to rob fans of their dream match.
