Wonder Woman Is In The Top 40 Best Selling Blu-ray Titles Chart In The USA

Wonder Woman was one of the highest grossing movies in North America when it came out last year.

The movie's momentum is not slowing down because the popular DCEU film has now cracked the top 40 best selling Blu-ray titles in the United States.

As shown on The-Numbers.com (via Fansided), Wonder Woman has currently sold over 2.5 million Blu-ray copies since it came out several months ago. The total revenue earned by Blu-ray sales is now at just over $73 million.

The movie is currently sitting at number 38 in the best selling chart ahead of other comic book movies such as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and even Avengers: Age of Ultron.

In terms of the entire DCEU, Man of Steel remains to be the best selling Blu-ray from that universe. The Superman movie has sold over 3.3 million copies to date although its revenue is lower than Wonder Woman earning over $68 million.

In terms of comic book movies as a whole, the best selling ones are The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises and Guardians of the Galaxy placing at number 5, number 8 and number 9 on the all time best sellers chart respectively.

Wonder Woman is by far the most popular DCEU film to date as it got positive reviews from critics and fans alike.

Sadly the movie's momentum was unable to convince people to watch Justice League as the latter film was the lowest earning DCEU film to date.

2018 is a quiet year for the DCEU as only Aquaman will be released in December. 2019 will have more DCEU films as Shazam and Wonder Woman 2 are the next movies from the franchise due to be released.
