Warner Bros has announced that Wonder Woman 1984 will be delayed until the year of 2020. This has been done to give the movie seven more months of production that will hopefully increase the film's quality.

Star Gal Gadot made the huge and shocking announcement over on her official Twitter account. You can see what she had to say on the matter posted down below.

"Super excited to announce that, thanks to the changing landscape, we are able to put Wonder Woman back to its rightful home. June 5, 2020. Be there or be square!!!"

The original release date for the movie was December 13th, 2019 but the movie had to move away from that date because Disney swooped in and announced Star Wars: Episode IX would be released around the same time.

Wonder Woman 1984 was then moved to November 1st, 2019 in order to avoid Star Wars and other big Holiday blockbusters. Now the new release date as aforementioned in June 5th, 2020 giving the film more production time.

Releasing Wonder Woman 1984 in the Summer season is a good move since the first movie grossed a lot of money back in June 2017. Not to mention it will give Warner Bros more time to improve the CGI effects.

Delaying a movie is good as it gives filmmakers enough time to polish up a film's visual quality.

We all know that Justice League was rushed into cinemas and that movie had horrible looking CGI. People noticed Henry Cavill's CGI face looked horribly rushed when Justice League came out last November.
