Wolverine Returns in the Final X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer

In the final trailer for the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse the creation of Apocalypse is explored and that's all good and well, however, Wolverine is back and that alone is enough to get excited about.

In the trailer, Jennifer Lawrence's character Mystique learns more about Apocalypse and his creation from Rose Byrne's character Moira MacTaggert. Fans who may not know of his abilities to absorb the powers of mutants to gain more.

There is a slight mention of the Four Horsemen and a sneak peek into Magneto joining the army of Apocalypse.

There is an epic look at the domination of Professor X at the hands of Apocalypse and Mystique's search for recruits.

"Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE," according to the caption of the final trailer posted by 20th Century Fox.

"Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible."

Highlights include Nightcrawler's appearance, along with Quicksilver, Storm, Cyclops, Jean Grey and the Claws of Wolverine.

You can watch the full trailer in the video below and look out for Wolverine's little cameo at the end of the trailer, you won't miss it as it comes with a long trail of bodies.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27.
