After interviewing comedy legend Judd Apatow on the Howard Stern Sirius XM radio show, Stern got a bit of an update on Mick The Nerd during the Wolfie Vortex.

Stern broke into the news on Mick The Nerd by saying he thought Wolfie took Mick somewhere while transitioning into a phone call with Wolfie, according to MarksFriggin.

"Wolfie said he took Mick out and he has some new stuff for him. He said he should have the tape," reported MarksFriggin.

"Howard said they may not have cut it up yet. Wolfie said they spoke to the guys who dress up like comic book characters.

Howard said he got a note saying he heard it and rejected it. Howard asked Gary if he can put up one clip because it sounds funny."

The audio clip featured Mick the Nerd talking to a guy in a Sponge Bob Squarepants outfit at one of the comic events. It got pretty confusing because the Spongebob character had no clue what Mick was talking about.

"Wolfie said that these guys collect tips and they turn it over to some shady guy," according MarksFriggin.

"Howard said he heard it's homeless guys and some of them are downright crazy.

Howard said there was one Elmo out there yelling about the Jews not too long ago.

Wolfie said that one guy dressed as Spider-Man had a web thing hooked up on his wrist and he whipped it out at him and hit him in the eye."

While much more of the audio seems to be in the process of being chopped the intro gives listeners a bit of an update on Mick The Nerd, the character who has become widely popular among the Stern Show fan base.
