Witcher III Video Details Game's Lore

It covers the history of Geralt's fantasy world, and it tells how the Wild Hunt came to be.

The video is dark, and it tells of how Witchers came to be. They are monster hunters in the game's world, and they drank potions in order for them to acquire certain abilities.

They are, however, often-stigmatized figures. Geralt is one of such cases.

The Witcher III will be the conclusion of Geralt's search for his estranged lover, Yennefer. In the previous game, Assassin's of Kings, Geralt was on a journey to clear his name while he searched for a cure for his amnesia.

The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt was delayed until Spring of 2015 in December. CD Projekt Red cited quality concerns as the reason for the anticipated game's postponing.

"The sheer size and complexity of The Witcher, key features of the title," CD Projekt Red stated in an open letter, "have had a decisive impact on production.

Now, nearing the end of our work, we see many details that need to be corrected.

When we release the most important game in our studio's history, we must be absolutely sure that we did everything we could to limit any bugs to a level that will allow you to enjoy the game thoroughly."
