As you may have heard already, WWE announced this past week that it will be staging the first ever all female Royal Rumble match in 2018. There are rumors circulating that former UFC champion Ronda Rousey could make a surprise appearance.

Usually at WrestleMania, WWE brings in either a past star or popular celebrity to make the PPV feel more special.

WWE may be running out of options for WrestleMania 34 with The Undertaker (presumably) retired and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson still too busy to come back.

There is speculation that Ronda Rousey will be the special attraction in the WWE next year. Rousey has been getting professional wrestling training and has made a few appearances on TV a couple of times already.

Not to mention one of Rousey's best friends, Shayna Baszler, is already working in the company as a wrestler. There is belief that the two friends will be joined by two others to make the Four Horsewoman team.

It is also expected that the female Royal Rumble match will feature 30 wrestlers so WWE needs to fill as many numbers as it can.

Aside from Rousey, we could see the return of past stars such as Trish Stratus and Lita to make the event feel even more special.

Do I think WWE will allow Rousey to win the first ever female Royal Rumble match? It's possible because there has been talk of her facing Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 34.

Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey could potentially be the main event of WrestleMania 34 if it's booked right.

We've never had a female main event at WrestleMania before and it should happen as the ladies have already been in the final match of several UFC PPVs in the past.

That being said, I would like someone on the full time roster like Asuka to win the Royal Rumble match instead.

WWE has relied too much on past stars and celebrities lately ignoring the enormous number of talent they already have.

Anyway, would you like to see Ronda Rousey win the 2018 Royal Rumble match? If not, who is your favorite to win the match next year?
