Why Isn't Scaramucci Being Investigated For Threating To Kill People In His Unhinged Rant?

Anthony Scaramucci had quite a day yesterday. After Scaramucci's unhinged call to CNN in the morning, Ryan Lizza published a shocking piece that included quotes from a conversation that he had with the new White House Communications Director.

The media immediately picked Lizza's piece up and played the more tawdry sound bytes over and over again. But one part of the story appears to have been lost among the rest, and that may be the most interesting:

I got the sense that Scaramucci's campaign against leakers flows from his intense loyalty to Trump. Unlike other Trump advisers, I've never heard him say a bad word about the President. "What I want to do is I want to fucking kill all the leakers and I want to get the President's agenda on track so we can succeed for the American people," he told me.

Yes, that's the White House Communications Director threatening to kill his co-workers.

And while the press jumped on another thing Scaramucci said (he told his friends in the FBI to investigate the leaks) nobody has said anything about the fact that he wants to murder people.

The question is: if statements like these about White House staff were made by someone else -- someone who isn't actually in the White House -- that person would be getting a knock on his door by a bunch of not-so-friendly Secret Service agents.

Will there be any consequences for Scaramucci after he said them? Doesn't look like it.

So now we have a guy in the White House (who technically wasn't supposed to even start working until August) who in his first few days has 1) illegally ordered the DOJ to investigate his enemies, and 2) threatened to kill U.S. officials.

This is the Trump-Mob crime family, and it's only going to get worse.
