Since 2011, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson had been making an annual appearance at WWE's WrestleMania event.

Sadly, the man missed WrestleMania 33 and a reason for his absence was not clearly explained until now. Basically, the man is just too busy these days to appear on WWE television.

The Rock gave his reason for missing the show during an interview with Chris Van Vliet. The Rock said: "No, i didn't get a chance to (as) I was shooting at that time.

We were just wrapping up Ballers (TV show) in LA. So I didn't get a chance to make it.

The Rock has a busy schedule although he still managed to appear at WrestleMania 27, WrestleMania 28, WrestleMania 29, WrestleMania 30, WrestleMania 31 and WrestleMania 32. WrestleMania 33 was the first time he missed the show in seven years.

At least The Rock is still open to show his face in the WWE from time-to-time. His biggest absence from the company was when he never appeared in front of a WWE crowd from 2004 until 2011.

There's a reason many people call Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson the busiest man in Hollywood. He was promoting The Fate of the Furious in April, filming Ballers, and now he's out promoting Baywatch.

At the same time he's also currently filming Rampage which is out next year. Later this December he will again be on the promotional bandwagon to hype up the release of Jumanji 2.

The man has become the biggest star in Hollywood, so it's not surprising to know that he had to skip this year's WrestleMania.

It will be interesting to see if he could make an appearance at next year's WrestleMania 34 event in New Orleans. I don't expect him to wrestle ever again though because Hollywood producers are too scared he'd get injured while wrestling.
