The day after WrestleMania is always billed to be a fresh start for the WWE. This week's episodes of both Raw and Smackdown didn't disappoint when it came to wrestlers returning to the company. The episodes also saw the debuts of many NXT wrestlers being called up to the main roster.

The biggest wrestlers to return to Raw were The Hardy Boyz.

They returned at WrestleMania 33, but this was the first time either of them have appeared on Raw for close to nine years.

Both Matt and Jeff Hardy looked great as they defended their tag team titles against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

Speaking of tag teams, The Revival made their debut on Raw to face off against The New Day.

The internet has been buzzing over The Revival ever since they had lots of great matches over on NXT. The tag team division on Raw is looking very strong.

Finn Balor also made his return after suffering a shoulder injury at SummerSlam 2016.

He teamed up with Seth Rollins to beat the team of Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens. Emma returned to Raw too after she failed to make use of her Emmalina character several weeks ago.

Smackdown also didn't disappoint when it came to new faces joining the roster. "The Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger made an impressive debut against Curt Hawkins. The fans chanted "10" throughout his match.

Shinsuke Nakamura made a grand entrance today by interrupting The Miz.

The only person returning from injury was Erick Rowan who is back with Bray Wyatt. Sadly, he didn't make much of an impact as he lost later in the night in a tag match against Luke Harper and Randy Orton.

Anyway, next week on WWE will be even more interesting as the rosters will be "shaken up". Some wrestlers will move to Raw to Smackdown and vice versa. Nobody is exempt from moving to a different show.
