While Drake and Rihanna steamed things up on the stage at the 2016 BRIT Awards, Coldplay's performance of "Hymn For The Weekend" was simply magical. Thankfully the performance was captured on video for all to see.

Coldplay did not perform "Hymn For The Weekend" during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, despite sharing the stage with the songs collaborator Beyonce. However, fans who have been waiting to hear the song live got a chance to do so last night during the 2016 BRIT Awards.

Together Chris Martin and his long-time band members brought "Hymn For The Weekend" alive thanks to a colorful stage setting that gave off a mystical and magical vibe.

Once Martin broke into the chorus of the some it was like a sea of flowers blooming bright. The song was performed in it's original form however, Beyonce was not there to share the stage with the band.

"Hymn For The Weekend" is a featured track on Coldplay's latest album A Head Full of Dreams. Towards the conclusion of the performance there was a never-ending stream of confetti making for a beautiful setting at the 2016 BRIT Awards.
