It seems Warner Bros have got their hands on beloved Hanna-Barbera cartoon, Scooby-Doo, once more.

Charles Roven and Richard Suckle are reuniting for the first time since "American Hustle" to help plan a new Scooby-Doo movie. The movie will be directed by Tony Cervone.

Which is good considering he's affiliation with the company. He's worked on "Space Jam," Cartoon Network's "The Looney Tunes Show" and "Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated."

Allison Abbate will be joining Roven and Suckle in producing the film.

She's already produced much loved and critically-acclaimed film such as, "The Iron Giant," as well as the Oscar-nominated films "Fantastic Mr.

Fox," Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride" and "Frankenweenie." Dan Povenmire will be lending a hand as the creative advisor and Matt Lieberman is in charge of the screenplay.

Warner Bros has already made two Scooby-Doo films, Scooby Doo in 2002 and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed in 2004. Together both movies managed to make $457.1 million world wide. Which means it's no question in the period of reboot why Warner Bros would choose to pull it up out of the depths.

That being said the new film will be entirely animated. As of now, the movie is planned to open on September 21, 2018.
