Ethan Jano is one-of-a-kind. The young folk singer is bringing and old-timey sound to present day.

Jano delivers vocals and instrumentation that has a direct connection to the dust bowl protest songs of the 1930's and 1950's. Blending traditional folk music with rhythm and blues, the musical style Jano has inherited is from the way of life of the working class that he has always known.

Jano grew up in rural Pennsylvania and was one of eight children born into a blue-collar family.

The artist was taught how to play guitar at the young age of eight, by his father by the campfire.

Jano uses the inspiration of Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Elvis and Bob Dylan when writing and creating his own music, resorting back to the tunes his father raised him on.

Jano just recently premiered his new single "How You Should Be" via The Vinyl District who zeroed in on the young singer-songwriters "innate authenticity".

Listen to the track below! Aside from the premiere of his new single "How You Should Be", Ehtan Jano prepares to release his debut album, I'll Be Fine, on February 10th, 2015.
